What maintenance am I responsible for?
Members are responsible for all maintenance except for structural, mechanical, and electrical related issues. For example, members are responsible for but not limited to shoveling snow, cleaning out the rain gutters, maintaining the yard, raking leaves, repairing home appliances, replacing light bulbs and batteries for smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
On the other hand, Upwardly is responsible for the roof, foundation, plumbing, water heater, furnace/heater, and electrical. Plumbing is specific to leaking pipes, clogged toilets, and septic systems. Clogged drains and emptying out septic tanks are member’s responsibility.
